My wife’s vehicle was rear ended a few weeks ago. Larry Walker & Sons Body Shop was an option and after meeting with their rep, hearing about their services and getting an estimate I decided to go with them. I was very specific with request for a luxury car (that didn’t smell like smoke) comparable to our car needing repair for rental but we were greeted with a small RAV4? Sized car. I refused the vehicle and then started looking for a car myself. It takes a few days to line up a luxury rental so work had to be delayed. I called State Farm & told them we needed to find a suitable vehicle and they were accommodating with increasing coverage if necessary. We found a suitable model in Asheboro and Enterprise brought it to the local office but it smelled like freshly smoked marijuana. So no go with that vehicle. I was ambushed when I asked to meet with the owner Brian Owens. He couldn’t maintain eye contact when we met so I suspected he was upset. He was totally focused on our ‘24 Genesis not being a luxury vehicle..saying BMW, AUDI, Mercedes, Lexus were not in the same class. And it was a “Hyundai”. Same price ranges and similar performance but somehow not the same class.

The Best Customer Service, the Best Mechanics. My car was in a Car accident and they made it look brand new!! I will only use them and refer everyone to Larry Walker and Sons!!

I had the unique experience of trying to simply pay for repairs on a vehicle--something you'd think would be straightforward- but apparently I stumbled into what felt like a top-secret government facility instead of a body shop. I'm a 3rd party, fully authorized to communicate and handle payment. I never questioned the charges, just asked for the total to determine if cash or insurance would be the best option. Every interaction was unnecessarily guarded, as if I was part of some elaborate heist. Heck, I'm always up for a challenge. Trying to pay this bill felt like trying trying to unlock a secret level in your favorite video game--except no one will share the cheat code, you need three forms of ID, a blood sample and apparently the manager's childhood nickname. I wish someone would call and ask me for an amount so they could get me a cashier's check! That would be the last time they'd ask that question. It doesn't have to be this hard, we handled a similar situation last summer with a competitor that's right up the street and it was so much easier. I recently had a bit of an 'uh-oh' with my garage door and ended up needing some body work done on my Honda C-RV. I am so glad we took my car to Larry Walker & Sons Body Shop. They were a wonderful team to work with from start to finish. They kept both my husband and me updated throughout the entire process, so we were never left wondering about the status of the repair. Most importantly, they handled the entire process with our insurance company, which made everything go so smoothly and took a huge weight off our shoulders. When I picked up my car, I was blown away—they did a detail clean on the inside and outside. It honestly looked exactly like it did the day I drove it off the dealership lot! I truly couldn't recommend them enough!!🙂

I recently used Larry Walker and Sons Body Shop to repair the front bumper on my truck. The process was easy and they were very professional. They even contacted me to let me know that the new bumper came in damaged and they had to order another one. Regardless, they had my truck ready as promised before the end of the week. My truck was returned washed and vacuumed and it looks good as new! I highly recommend Larry Walker and Sons Body Shop if you need repairs to your vehicle!
